Abstract

Abstract — The promising potential of the perfume market in Indonesia and the ease of entry have led to the emergence of perfume replenishment small and medium enterprises (SMEs), one of which is De ISI Parfum. Like SMEs in general, De ISI Parfum struggles with manual sales and inventory systems, especially due to large amount of inventory (>445 items). The issues are human error, data tracking, synchronization of sales and inventory data, and reporting time. This service is aimed at developing a Point of Sales (POS) system to record sales and control inventory at De ISI Parfum. The implementation of the service consisted of three phases, namely problem identification and needs analysis, development, and training of the POS system. Business process mapping and interrelationship diagram were used to identify weaknesses in the business processes and the needs of De ISI Parfum. The development of a web-based POS includes a menu for the management of employee data, members, suppliers, master items, inventory control, promotions, purchase, sales and operational transactions.  It can also provide revenue and profit and loss reporting. The impacts of the service are reducing administrative time for recapitulating sales data, monitoring inventory to make purchase decisions, and monitoring operational activities.
