Perancangan User Interface dan User Experience Website Library UAJY Menggunakan Metode User-Centered Design

We can find developments in the use of applications, whether web or mobile, in various aspects of life, one of which is the application of technology in the educational sector in libraries. In its use, the application or web should have adequate features to answer the user's needs. A good user interface is also needed to access these features so that application users can use the features in the application optimally. This research aims to produce a library website display design that can meet user needs. In this research, the user interface and user experience of the UAJY library website were designed using the user-centered design (UCD) method, with the website users being UAJY students. After the design process is complete, a testing process is carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Testing using SUS was carried out to determine the usability value and user acceptance of the website display.
Perkembangan penggunaan aplikasi, baik web atau mobile di berbagai lini kehidupan, salah satunya pada dunia pendidikan, penerapan teknologi di bidang pendidikan, dapat kita jumpai pada perpustakaan. Dalam penggunaannya, aplikasi atau web hendaknya memiliki fitur yang mumpuni sehingga mampu menjawab kebutuhan pengguna. Untuk mengakses fitur-fitur tersebut, dibutuhkan juga tampilan antar muka pengguna yang baik sehingga pengguna aplikasi dapat menggunakan fitur yang ada di dalam aplikasi secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan tampilan website library yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan User Interface dan User Experience website library UAJY dengan metode User Centered Design (UCD), dengan pengguna website yakni mahasiswa UAJY. Setelah proses perancangan selesai, dilakukan proses pengujian dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Pengujian menggunakan SUS dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui nilai usability dan penerimaan tampilan website dari pengguna.
