Abstract

The distribution of Family Planning (FP) healthcare facilities in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province faces various challenges, primarily due to geographical factors and limited information on service locations. To address this issue, this study develops a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that enables mapping and dissemination of FP healthcare facility information in Timor Island. This system provides details on healthcare center locations, available FP facilities, and routes to service points, facilitating easier access to FP services for the public. The software development method follows the Waterfall model, comprising analysis, design, implementation, and system testing using the black-box testing method. The study results indicate that the developed system enhances accessibility to FP service information for the public, healthcare workers, and the NTT BKKBN office. The implementation of this GIS is expected to serve as an innovative solution to support the FP program and improve healthcare service effectiveness in areas with challenging geographical conditions.
