Pembangunan Aplikasi Web Penentuan Dosen Pembimbing Skripsi Menggunakan Algoritma Profile Matching

Skripsi adalah tugas akhir yang wajib diselesaikan oleh para mahasiswa sebagai syarat kelulusan. Mahasiswa didampingi oleh dosen pembimbing skripsi selama pengerjaan skripsi. Dosen pembimbing menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan tugas akhir para mahasiswa. Ketidaksesuaian dosen pembimbing dengan mahasiswa dapat mempengaruhi pengerjaan dan hasil akhir skripsi mahasiswa. Untuk mendapatkan dosen pembimbing yang sesuai maka dibangun sebuah aplikasi web untuk menentukan dosen pembimbing dengan menggunakan algoritma profile matching. Arsitektur aplikasi web terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu front end dan back end. Aplikasi web dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Javascript, library React Js, dan menggunakan Mongo DB sebagai basis data untuk menyimpan data yang digunakan dalam aplikasi web. Algoritma Profile Matching diterapkan pada aplikasi web untuk menentukan dosen pembimbing skripsi. Dengan adanya aplikasi web ini dapat menentukan dosen pembimbing skripsi untuk mahasiswa. Berdasarkan pengujian terhadap pengguna yang terdiri dari 31 responden.
