Sering kali masyarakat di tingkat akar rumput sulit mendapatkan akses ke ruangpublik karena akses yang terbatas bagi partisipasi masyarakat bawah. Komunikasi partisipatifmenempatkan masyarakat sebagai subjek dalam proses komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan tujuan memahami komunikasi partisipatif dengan menggunakan photovoice yang bernama Panda CLICK!. WWF Kalimantan Barat memberdayakan masyarakat Bunut Hilir, Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, dengan photovoice. Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu dikenal sebagai wilayah konservasi lingkungan. Photovoice bertujuan agar masyarakat memiliki akses untuk menyatakan gagasan atau pikirannya, khususnya tentang isu lingkungan. Masyarakat difasilitasi kamera saku digital sederhana untuk berekspresi.
