Abstrak:Konsep arsitektur hibrid merupakan salah satu bentuk dari arsitektur kontemporer, yang merupakan penggabungan antar dua atau lebih teori fungsi dan bentuk yang berbeda menjadi fungsi dan bentuk yang baru. Arsitektur hibrid memiliki metode yang berbeda diantara nya persilangan, pencampuran dan penggabungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode arsitektur hibrid dengan konsep tradisional dan futuristik pada bangunan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan mengamati fenomena secara lebih rinci tentang suatu keadaan. Penelitian ini akan menganlisi metode arsitektur hibrid pada studi kasus gedung rektorat universitas Muhamadiyah Surakarta. Ditemukan bahwa di kasus gedung rektorat universitas Muhamadiyah Surakarta menerapkan arsitektur hibrid secara persilangan, yang merupakan persilangan dari arsitektur tradisional bryzantium dengan arsitektur futuristik.

Title: Study of The Concept of Hybrid Architecture (Traditional And Futuristic), Case Study: Muhammadiyah University Rectorate Building, Surakarta, Indonesia
Abstract: The concept of hybrid architecture is a form of contemporary architecture that combines two or more different functions and forms into new functions and forms. Theory Hybrid architecture has three different methods out of crossing, mixing, and combining. This study aims to determine the hybrid architectural method with traditional and futuristic concepts in educational buildings. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by observing the phenomenon in more detail about a situation. This study will analyze the hybrid architectural method in the Muhammadiyah rectorate building, Surakarta. The Rectorate Building of the Muhamadiyah University Surakarta implements cross-cutting hybrid architecture, a cross between traditional Byzantine architecture and futuristic architecture.

This agreement can be terminated by the author or Jurnal Arsitektur KOMPOSISI upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of Jurnal Arsitektur KOMPOSISI.
7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by Jurnal Arsitektur KOMPOSISI or its sublicensee.
