Perencanaan Perbaikan Akustik Ruang dengan Metode Bertingkat

Studi Kasus: Ruang Ibadah GPdI El-Shaddai Magelang

Abstract

Kegiatan ibadah yang melibatkan khotbah (pidato) dan musik dari instumen band lengkap membutuhkan penanganan akustik ruang yang lebih komplek.  Hasil pengukuran kondisi eksisting kualitas akustik ruang GPdI El Shaddai Magelang waktu dengung kondisi eksisting menunjukan nilai RT yang masih tinggi dikisaran angka 1.7 - 1.9 detik dari nilai rujukan 1.4 sampai 1.6 detik sehingga diperlukan perbaikan. Gereja membutuhkan profesional yang dapat membantu dalam membuat rencana perbaikan karena mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang desain akustik ruang. Pengukuran lapangan dan simulasi akustik akan digunakan untuk merancang ruang ibadah gereja. Nilai rujukan standar akustik ruang adalah RT60, D50 dan C80. Konsep perbaikan dengan rekomendasi berjenjang mulai dari level minimum, medium hingga advance. Ketiga level perbaikan memberikan dampak perbaikan. Level advance memberikan hasil terbaik dan menjawab semua tuntutan standar nilai rujukan. Namun level advance juga berdampak pada perubahan yang lebih banyak dari segi konstruksi, tampilan visual, dan anggaran biaya. Keputusan level perbaikan yang akan digunakan merupakan sepenuhnya hak Gereja.
