Author Guidelines
Authors should follow the ethical guidelines for publication set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Please review our Publication Ethics on our website to ensure you meet these standards.
Ensure that the manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere. The list of authors submitted with the manuscript is final. Any changes to the author list must be approved by the editorial team and confirmed by all authors involved, including those added or removed. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via our Open Journal System (OJS) platform. Ensure you follow the submission checklist to speed up the review process.
Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will be evaluated through a blind peer review process. This means that the identities of both the authors and reviewers will remain confidential. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two experts in the field. The review process ensures that the research is original, scientifically valid, and contributes meaningfully to the field of Informatics. The final decision on the manuscript’s acceptance is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers' feedback.
File Format
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. To maintain consistency and facilitate the review and publication process, please use the Jurnal Buana Informatika template, which is available on our website. The manuscript must be formatted in a single column, A4 size. Proper formatting is essential for a smooth review process and to ensure that your paper aligns with the journal’s presentation standards.
Manuscript Structure
The manuscript must contain an Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and Recommendations. The Jurnal Buana Informatika template will provide specific formatting guidelines for these sections. Following the template will help ensure that your manuscript is prepared according to the journal's requirements.
References
Use the IEEE citation style for all references in your manuscript. Ensure that you include at least 10 references, with a minimum of 80% coming from primary sources such as journal articles, conference papers, or patents published within the last 10 years. For efficient citation management, consider using tools like Mendeley. Proper citation is crucial for academic integrity and provides readers with the sources necessary for further research.
Revisions
When revising your manuscript, upload the updated version to the submission system and make sure it meets our formatting and publication standards. Be sure to work through the checklist we will send you and upload it as well.
Responding to Reviewers
Address all reviewer comments in detail. Provide responses and outline the revisions made to the manuscript. Notify the editor of changes by filling out the form that will be sent.
