Peer Review Process
To ensure the highest standards of quality and relevance, Jurnal Buana Informatika (JBI) conducts a thorough peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of published research by carefully evaluating each manuscript through detailed reviews.
Each submitted manuscript to Jurnal Buana Informatika (JBI) undergoes a comprehensive initial review conducted by the Editorial Board. This initial review assesses the manuscript's suitability based on the journal's scope, similarity check scoring with Turnitin, methodology, readability, and adherence to the paper template.
Following the initial review, manuscripts that meet the essential criteria are sent for anonymous peer review. At least two independent reviewers, selected for their expertise in the relevant field, evaluate the manuscript. The reviewers' comments and recommendations are then forwarded to the corresponding author for revisions and responses.
The editorial team will convene to review the revised manuscript and make a suggested decision based on the reviewers' feedback and the authors' responses. Accepted manuscripts will proceed to the copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare them for publication.
