Author Submission Checklist
As part of the submission process to Jurnal Buana Informatika, authors must ensure that their manuscripts adhere to the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements may be returned for revision or not considered for review.
- Manuscripts must not have been published before or be under review by another journal. Manuscripts must have a clear title, with a maximum of 15 words, and an abstract in both Indonesian and English, with a length of 100 to 150 words. The abstract must also include 3 to 5 keywords or phrases.
- Manuscripts must use numbered headings for chapters and sub-chapters and be formatted in an essay style, not enumerative. Manuscripts must be organized into the following sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and Recommendations.
- All figures, tables, formulas, and other objects must be clear and not obscured. References to these objects must be capitalized, such as "see Equation 1" or "see Figure 1." In addition, all objects must be cited in the text of the manuscript.
- References must be included in the manuscript and all cited sources must appear in the References list. The manuscript must contain at least 10 references, with a minimum of 80% from journal articles published in the last 10 years. References must follow the IEEE citation style, with attention to italicized and unitalicized text and completeness and order of entry.
- For numbers representing quantities less than 10, use words (such as "two" instead of "2"), but use numeric format for decimals or percentages. The manuscript must be formatted in Times New Roman font, with headings at 14 point, body text at 11 point, figure/table labels at 10 point, and tables at 9 point. Code must be in Courier New font at 9 point. The manuscript must be typed single-spaced.
- The manuscript must be formatted on A4 paper with 3 cm margins on all sides and in a single-column format. The length of the manuscript should be between 8 and 10 pages (even), and the file must be submitted in .doc format (not .docx).
