About the Journal
Journal History
KINERJA (ISSN Online: 2549-1709; ISSN Printed: 0853-6627) has been published since June 1996, with two issues released annually in March and September. The journal is professionally and independently managed by the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY), formerly known as the Faculty of Economics until its official name change on November 11, 2018. By March 2016, KINERJA had published a total of 273 papers. After 20 years of publication, the journal transitioned into a full English-language journal and migrated to an online journal management system (OJS). KINERJA publishes empirical academic papers in the fields of business and economics, adhering to the classification standards of the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL).
KINERJA in Bahasa Indonesia means performance, achievement, or result expected from an organization/individual process. This infers that KINERJA is willing to deliver high-quality journal management, high impact of accepted papers, and high value-added to readers. This is also aligned with the values of Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (Excellence, Inclusive, Humanity, and Integrity).
