About the Journal

Journal History

KINERJA (ISSN Online: 2549-1709; ISSN Printed: 0853-6627) is published since June 1996. KINERJA has two issues in a year in March and September. KINERJA is managed professionally and independently by the Faculty of Business and Economics Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY). A total of 273 papers were published on KINERJA until March 2016. After 20 years, we established a full English Journal and migrated to an online journal management system known as OJS. KINERJA publishes empirical academic papers in business and economics, following the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL).

KINERJA in Bahasa Indonesia means performance, achievement, or result expected from an organization/individual process. This infers that KINERJA is willing to deliver high-quality journal management, high impact of accepted papers, and high value-added to readers. This is also aligned with the values of Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (Excellence, Inclusive, Humanity, and Integrity).

Journal Accreditation

KINERJA Journal accredited Rank 3 from RISTEKDIKTI, Decree Number 36/E/KPT/2019 valid from Volume 23 No. 2 (2019) to Volume 28 No. 1 (2024).
