LAYANAN SOCIETY 5.0 PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS ATMA JAYA YOGYAKARTA RESERVASI BUKU “BY REQUEST”

Abstract

“The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on library service activities. Visitor habits,
engaging in library activities, suddenly all face-to-face services were stopped. The
implementation of government policies in the era of the new normal in the library field
and the principles of education policy during the Covid-19 pandemic have generated
innovations and transformations in library services. The siquest.uajy.ac.id application is
one of the Society 5.0 services that serves as evidence of the transformation of online book
lending services. The purpose of this paper is to present the application of technology for
sustainable library services, the enhancement of library resources, strategies, the flow of
borrowing by request, and the role of librarians in providing book borrowing services
by request. The methodology of this paper involves literature studies in library science
and services. The results of the paper consist of innovations, strategies, and the role of
Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta Library in providing book borrowing services using the
siquest.uajy.ac.id application.”
