TANGGAPAN PENGGUNA KELAS LITERASI INFORMASI PERPUSTAKAAN FAKULTAS GEOGRAFI UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Abstrak

Library services continue to evolve in line with efforts to meet user needs. One of the services that must be provided is information literacy services. Information literacy materials are developed according to user needs. This study aims to determine user
responses to information literacy services organized by the Faculty of Geography Library in 2023. The research method used quantitative descriptive research. Questionnaires were given to respondents participating in information literacy, and as many as 22 respondents filled out the response form. Data analysis was done quantitatively. The results of the study showed that user responses to the organization of information literacy classes, resource persons, and materials were dominated by excellent and sound responses, with even responses to information literacy materials, 86% stated that they were very suitable, and 14% stated that they were by user needs. Some proposed information literacy materials will be implemented in 2024. The results of user responses are helpful for the library as part of evaluating information literacy activities and improvements in the following program.
