About the Journal

Journal History

MODUS (ISSN Printed 0852-1875); ISSN Online 2549-3787) was published in 1983. MODUS is a national journal managed by the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. Talking about the meaning of the word MODUS itself, this word can be interpreted as a number that often appears in data. The hope is that this journal and the works of the authors in it can always be presented to the wider community and provide a wealth of knowledge that will have a big impact on both Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta and the world.

 

This journal is open to researchers and academics in this field to publish their work. MODUS publishes the latest empirical research in the fields of accounting, economics, business/entrepreneurship, and areas related to management. MODUS is published twice a year, namely in March and September. Accepted writings are presented in and accepted articles in Indonesian. Authors are not charged any fees for processing the writing from the writing acceptance process to the publication process. SINTA 4 accredited MODUS (No. SK 36/E/KPT/2019)

Focus and Scope

MODUS is a national scale journal accredited by SINTA 4 which provides a forum for publishing original research articles, review articles from contributors, and new technology news related to the fields of management, accounting, economics and business. This journal includes original research articles, review articles, and communications with a scope including:

Financial management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational behaviour, Corporate Governance, Strategic Management, Operation Management, Innovation Management, Public policy, Auditing and other accounting sciences, Accounting Management, Management Education, Tourism Management, Green Management, Entrepreneurship, and others related to economics and business

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted to MODUS is first assessed by reviewers in the blind review process. When the blind review process is finished, authors will be informed about the results, and whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected. The editor sends the reviewers’ decisions and recommendations to the authors along with the deadline for revision. If the manuscript is accepted without revision, the Editor in Chief will provide a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to the author and the article will be immediately processed for copy-editing and production. 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
