Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

  1. We submit articles written in Indonesian
  2. Each article should be sent to our journal that has not been submitted or published in other magazines or journals. Plagiarism is prohibited.
  3. The article that may published in our journal must be taken through the process of blind review by reviewers who have been designated by the editor to consider things such as the relevance to the discipline of economics, correspondence between the title to the content, logic in the preparation, correspondence between reasoning and facts and the use of adequate reference
  4. If necessary, the editor reserves the right to change the sentence, without changing the intention to convey the author of the article.
  5. Articles typed with double spacing (double spacing) on A4 (8.5 x 11). Direct citation (more than three lines or more than 50 words) typed single-spaced (single spacing), separate from the body with indented writing style.
  6. Limit (margin) up and down, left and right at least 1 inch.
  7. Frontpage articles at least mention the title of the article and the author's identity.
  8. The abstract is presented at the beginning of the text in English and Indonesian and comprises between 100-400 words. Abstract followed by at least 4 (four) keywords (keywords) to facilitate the preparation of the article index.
  9. The length of the article is between 15-25 pages with Times New Roman with 12 font.
  10. Citations in the body of the text should be written between brackets open and closed parenthesis mentioning the author's last name, the year without a comma and the page number if necessary.
  11. All pages, including tables, attachments and references should be consecutively numbered pages. Each table and figure is consecutively numbered, and the title is according to the contents of the tables and figures as well as the source of the quotation.
  12. Reference is written in the American format Psychology Association (APA) style.

Privacy Statement

Publication Ethics
 
Introduction
Academic Journals require all authors to adhere to the ethical standards as prescribed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
 
Authorship
Inclusion of a person who does not meet the authorship requirement as specified by the editorial checklists or the exclusion of a person who meets the requirement is a violation of this publication's ethics.
 
Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts should be the original works of the author(s). Academic Journals will follow COPE guidelines in suspected cases of plagiarism. All of submitted manuscripts will be checked by reputable and premium versions of plagiarism software. 
 
Duplicate manuscripts
"Duplicate publication is publication of a paper that overlaps substantially with one already published, without clear, visible reference to the previous publication" ICMJE Overlapping Publications, It is unethical for authors to submit a manuscript to more than one journal at the same time, either within Academic Journals or any other journal. This includes the submission of manuscripts derived from the same data in such a manner that there are no substantial differences in the manuscripts. Duplicate submission also includes the submission of the same/similar manuscript in different languages to different journals.
 
Fabrication and falsification of data
Fabrication, manipulation or falsification of data is a violation of this publication's ethics. Academic Journals will follow the COPE guidelines in suspected cases of fabrication and falsification of data.
 
Citations manipulation
Authors should use only citations that are relevant to their manuscripts. The addition of references which are not relevant to the work is strongly discouraged. Irrelevant self-citation to increase one’s citation is unethical. Unnecessary citation of articles for the sole purpose of “increasing” the articles’ citation is unethical. Unnecessary citation of articles from a particular journal to “increase” the journal's citation is unethical.
 
Publication fee
All the manuscript processing and publication fee are covered by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. There is no fees charged to the author(s).
