Article Withdrawal Policy

A withdrawal refers to the removal of a manuscript from consideration by the author before it is published. Authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript at any stage prior to acceptance by sending a written request, stating the reasons, to the editorial office.

Withdrawal after the manuscript has been sent to reviewers is discouraged, since it wastes the time and effort of editors and reviewers. Requests for withdrawal after acceptance will be considered only in exceptional circumstances, and the editors reserve the right to decline them. Withdrawal of a manuscript in order to submit it simultaneously elsewhere is considered a breach of publication ethics.

Once an article has been published, it cannot be withdrawn. Published articles that contain serious errors or ethical violations are handled in accordance with the Corrections and Retractions policy.
