Post-Publication Discussions
IJIS welcomes constructive scholarly discussion of the articles it publishes. Readers who wish to comment on, question, or critique a published article may submit a letter to the editor or a comment article to the editorial office, with specific reference to the article concerned.
Submitted comments are screened by the editors, and, where appropriate, the authors of the original article are invited to respond. Comments and responses may be published in a subsequent issue and are linked to the original article. Criticism must be based on scholarly arguments and evidence; personal attacks and defamatory statements will not be accepted.
Concerns about the validity of the data, ethical violations, or other serious problems in a published article will be handled in accordance with the Research Misconduct and Corrections and Retractions policies. The editors' decision regarding the publication of post-publication comments is final.
